If this one succeeds, she'll be my first ever broody!I have two, but only this one has gone broody before.
I've stuck 15 under my SS once.Awesome, she better stick to this. How many eggs can a Speckled Sussex comfortably manage?
I have a brooder coop (kinda) and she will raise chicks in there if she hatches them, but I'm going out of town for the weekend, so I'm thinking when I get back on Tuesday, if she is still sticking to it, I'll move her Tuesday night. Sound like a plan?

She gosh darned well better! The ultimate test will be letting them out in the morning.......will she jump out. I'll probably give her a nice, even dozen eggs.I've stuck 15 under my SS once.10-15 is a comfortable range.
