Okay here are the details:
The UPS guy at dads work has two ducks. Turns out he had a drake and a hen, and the hen went broody and hatched 15 ducklings. He can't have that many in his neighborhood, so he offered them ALL to dad. He's giving them to mom for her birthday.

BUUUUT, since they're being raised by a broody, we won't get them for awhile yet. :/ Gives us time to prepare.

Nice. Breed? Be prepared, they can be very messy.

My baby guinea pig is cuter than a baby dog in my opinion. But puppies are still so cute!

I do not do cuteness.

And, yes, chickens fall in that category due to the fact mine have eaten whole mice.

Lol. I have found that using chicken nipples in the coop if it's just a night house cuts the mess by more than half, I went from changing bedding every two days to two or three weeks. (Though now I have thrice as many birds I have to clean more often)
