I moved my broody hen (Caramel) and her chicks to the shed I cleaned out. She is very happy! I took the eggs she left and put them in my incubator. I have nothing to lose!

2...... out of 14 eggs. I thought I might as well put the others in the incubator. She abandoned the eggs, so I thought I might as well keep them warm and see what happens. I have them on lockdown, but I have no idea what day they are on. I will hope for the best.

That is not very many.... I guess better than none tho.

I saw a thread on here from 10 years ago and a guy hatched some eggs without turning them. I hope that is true! If they are not on lockdown.....

Yup. Now that I have an incubator, though, I can put some in any time I like. (As long as it is not a staggered hatch, of course. )
