Awesome part: FIRST SWIM MEET OF THE YEAR!
I came in second for my IM, first with my freestyle, fourth with my backstroke, and my relay team won both for free and medley relay. My sisters did great, and I had an overall awesome meet.

We then went to go tubing at the river with my aunt and five year old cousin.

Creepy part. A WEIRD GUY IS A CREEPER
We get to go tubing, and find that there is no great spot to get in, it is a super steep bank. A random guy and a lady stop and show us an easier way. I look up and the guy is squatting and whispering in my moms ear as we are getting in the river. Apparently he said "Ma'am, I'm whispering this because I don't want the kids to hear, but there is water moccasins in the river, and that ain't afraid of people, and will chase you, of you see one get out immediately'' Water moccasins are a venomous water snake we don't have in these parts, so my mom wasn't worried, just freeped out by the guy.

We finally get in, and after 5 minutes, the creepy guy is yelling at us "GET OUT OF THE WATER, TWO SNAKES ARE CHASING YOU'' Wecontinue to be unconcerned about snakes, just weirded out.

Scary part: I almost drown.
My five year old cousin and I go down the rapids together, theses rapids are strong, and we flipped. I'm stuck in the middle of a powerful river with a four year old and no more tube,it floated downstream,. After 20 minutes of tipping, a random guy saved us, and we got back to dry life, but I was getting scared trying to make smart decisions to keep myself and my cousin alive.

I went bed and lived up to this second happily ever after.
