Yeah! I'm the same, when my 29x32 pants started falling off we were both like, well this ain't gonna work for me.

I can not wear pants unless they have adjustable elastic waistbands. And I HATE belts, so it is either adjustable waistband, or wear size ten pants. I get it honestly though, my grandmother has never touched 100#, and my Aunts are tiny as well.
