Well, I'm back!


A hawk just tried to get into my broiler run.... The baler twine over the top of the run saved the day!

Oh Cuz..... I can't even imagine. I can kinda feel ya though... Whenever we go on vacation its like I have no reason to get out of bed in the morning. The first thing I ALWAYS do is feed my horses. And if I don't do that FIRST, it throws me off for the rest of the day.

But life without chickens.....

Well, you are stronger than me that's for sure. i couldn't stand being far away from my chickens for a long period of time. And if i have to be away from them, i would be on BYC. But then no BYC for a period of time? I would have to text my friend. I forgot i had a friend i text....woops

I have 4 Blue Ameraucana chicks! Sickening and exciting at the same time. I spent $90.00 on 37 eggs and I have 4 chicks. I have two Splashes, one Black, and one Blue. The Black doesn't have slate gray legs, but we'll see how they turn out..
