So, I got ten chicks. No beards unless the one that isn't quite dry has one.

One chick internally pipped but was dead by the time I opened it yesterday. The other was shrink wrapped, but still breathing when I opened it. Tried to assist but it was bloody and the chick hadn't been breathing well so it died. Which stinks cuz I wanted a chick from that hen.

And one chick has a hurt leg. It was walking as well as can be expected from a chick hours old, now it isn't using one.

I don't have pics yet.

He is a pretty decent size. I think he's between 12 and 15lbs at least but he's not fat and we don't feed him, he's solid muscle and he catches his own dinners.

Wow, that's great! One of my cats is 11 lbs...or was before his leg got chopped off. He still catches mice and birds and bosses the dogs around.

And my little sibs LOVE the cats. Poor cats endure so much.

Okay, I was catching up encase somebody mentioned me or something...
But I'm here now! Dodging Can's teeth...

So, Spitfire, the doe that never kindled, never kindled...I palpated and can't feel anything. I'm going to give her one more shot at it. The other two litters are doing amazing! So-far only one death(forgot to latch door, it got out, and the cats caught it) from both litters combined. Not bad IMO! So, been pretty busy and haven't BYCed for quite a while...how y'all been?
