Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

My worm bin I started last August is doing amazing. I really need to harvest the casting but it has been so wet I haven been able to do that. I've also expanded into an old freezer, I'll be putting about half of the worms in the pink bin in there. I put a handful of test worms in to make sure it was good and they liked it, today I caught them breeding so in more go.
Original bin.

I've only seen it a couple time my self, it's pretty interesting. Worms are hermaphrodites and possess both male and female sex organs. The good news for us worm farmers is that the worms are not very picky at all when it comes to choose a suitable mate. As a matter of fact they will basically mate with any mature worm that crosses their path.

Once two mature worms meet they will face each other and attach their male sexual organ to the female sexual organ of their partner.

I'm going to tell her so. She's not going to remember anyone if she doesn't talk to them. :/
Yeahhhh. She is not allowed to just drop off the face of the earth like she doesn't have a second family here who loves her and misses her tons!!
Well I found a new nest to watch! I don't recognize the eggs so I'll have to look into that. And a wren in the barn hatched four out of four eggs today.
Awesome! There is a Says Phoebe nest on the front porch of our new house. I'm afraid all the coming and going will scare them away...:/

Good, I have 16 chicks coming in the morning!
