Mine are close to 9'.

Blossom end rot is a calcium deficiency.

Yeah! Something odd I noticed was that the ones I let run rampant (those) appeared to be much healthier than the ones I took time to stake up and care for.

That's when we had them in are beds with cotton mulch now they have blight when we moved them to the soil but 9 foot! That is big!
