I was defending myself!

So, Mom and I went to look at another possibly new house today.
(Think: 4th one. -_- IF YOU WANNA SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY, MOTHER, GO GIVE IT TO A CHARITY OR SOMETHING- WE DON'T NEED 4 HOUSES!!!! )
I am fully prepared to stay in the car while she surveys it, armed with another epic book.
But she drags me out of the car cause there's supposedly four chicken coops.
Oh, yeah, there are chicken coops.
And the chickens to match.
Problem?
House was evacuated two weeks ago. Nobody's fed or watered the chickens for over 17 days. *~*
So, like the criminals we are, we make up a bunch of excuses to ditch our clueless realtor, and the confiscation begins.
There's 15 Spanish bantam chicks, ages from three weeks to around two months, which half are literally half-dead from starvation. There's feathers everywhere, betraying obvious predator raids. We pile them into a conveniently near-by box, and open the other coops.
There are PIGEONS.
4 ruffed pigeons.
Pigeons go in another box.
Next.....
The pair of parents of the many chicks- beautiful birds.
Mom and Dad go loose in car.
Then......
THEN.........
THEN...................



Guess what I found next.

Why would anyone in their right mind leave behind and not sell a chicken that makes an appearance on Green fire farms themselves??
ARE THESE PEOPLE DUMB?!?!

I personally think that NO chicken should be left behind at a place with no food, water, or predator protection... It's wrong no matter how much money the chicken is worth.

Exactly! People just.... enrage me.... with THEIR BLANTANT CARELESSNESS FOR LIFE'S WORTH!!!!!!!

We have a bumper sticker that says, "No animal left behind", being we're unlicensed, but pretty much official animal rehabilitators, with a wolf leaping into a fire to rescue a chicken.
