Hey here's a question, if you're not supposed to breed polled to polled than why have I never seen a horned angus?

Why aren't you supposed to breed polled to polled? I see it happen all the time. Our neighbor is a dairy farmer, he's got a polled bull and maybe forty polled cows. A few with horns, but most not. No problems there. He's not the only one, either. Our cow is polled and she was bred to polled.

But I'm gonna look into this. :p

I picked four pounds of cucumbers this morning. You have no idea how awesome it felt to walk in and be like "Mom I just picked three or four months worth of pickles!"

My brothers could probly finish them off in a couple weeks. XD

:hu It's a mutation and often if you get two copies for a mutation problems happen. :hu

Sometime between last night and early this morning Piggy Sue had TEN piglets! Nine nice big ones and a little runt who's about half the size of the others. Not expecting that one to do too well (we did help it get milk) but that's ok. Nine is still a good number.

Awesome! One of the pigs at my work had pigglets yesterday and a YouTube friend of mine had a sow farrow yesterday as well! :)
