Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

You're welcome.

Ok.

Yup, I've used ACV and booch is much better. I used ACV last year when they got pox, it did very little, took 2-3 months to get rid of it. This time I used booch and not only did it stop it and improve their immune systems it pretty much cleared 180 birds of it in less than 2 weeks only putting it in their water three times. Anyway, give a shot for yourself and best of luck!
Great, I will try it for sure.

I will talk to Dad about getting out there sooner.

So I got to go and SEEN ALL the chickens and turkeys.... But I was not prepared for what I was going to find! :hit:hit:hit They ALL are so sick!

All of them have leg mites, 9 of them have wire growing into there legs, at least 15-17 have bubble foot, a couple are blind, and most are just super lethargic. :hit

I am so sad for them... Not even to mention the turkeys.

This should sum it up for the turkeys in with the chickens.
View attachment 1130501 it looks like if you put 3-4 golf balls on her feet.

I will post a pic of the chickens in a minute
The poor birds!! That is just utterly terrible!! That bumblefoot is crazy bad too!! Wow! :hit :hit

Here are the chickens... So sad looking.
They were starving.

My goodness, I can't even stand to look them! Poor chickies!

Now this turkey is a special girl.... I don't know what about her but something!

She has really bad mites, bubble foot, totally blind, and yet such a sweetie... I walked Into the pen and she just stood there and let me pet her... So sweet.

Look at that face!

She will live on the farm at peace.

She needs a name! Got any suggestions? I never really name my birds but her....
Aww she is so sweet looking! I love turkeys!

Hmm, suggestion for a name...
- Mayflower
- Daisy
?

The young man that is caring for this flock right now is going to learn a couple things, lol. I am going to see if he wants to help me and Zim get them back to healthy.

He just doesn't know how to care for them.
Boy oh boy will he have to learn how to properly care for poultry! The way those birds are living is unacceptable. I wish you the best and hope that the birds recover well!

I started with 11 strawberry plants this spring. I now have over 100. They started sending runners into the grass so this evening I started putting them in pots to root. (Still attached to the parent plant) I potted 30 before I ran out of light and I'm only halfway done. :th.
Daniel, I am so jealous right now. :lau
I have been trying to set up a decent strawberry garden again for at least a year, but our new plants are so tiny and produce almost nothing. :th

Good.

:thumbsup Generally speaking, things like mites attack weaker animals, the ones that are sick or otherwise not healthy so if you can get their immune systems back up then I think you'd have a better chance at getting rid of them.

:gig Lol

Try chicken litter? Duck water? Planting them then watering once and forgetting about them till you realize there are over 100 of them?
