Daww so cute :love

This is as hard as choosing chicken breeds :lau
I'll make a lil list :p

I have a hummingbird feeder outside the downstairs kitchen window, and its so fun to watch all the Annas hummingbirds in early spring! Later the Rufous ones come.. and they are too mean so i dont like them that much XD Feisty little guys- very territorial. My neice named one "Hummus" :lau
Before it got dark and i would grab a little stick, holding it in the air by the feeder. Sometimes hummingbirds would land on it waiting for someone to leave the feeder.

Next is Canada geese. Ever since i was little i would go out in the yard and feed them. A lot of them had names, too. One time there was a goose that wouldn't stop following me around, and he stayed with me when his flock left. Last time i saw him i was in 2nd or 3rd grade. The year before there was a family of geese that came to our house that were extremely friendly. Their mom was blind in one eye, and i got away with petting her and one of her super cute goslings. The dad was very cautious, though. I couldn't pet him.

Then there are mallards- boy i created little monsters *~*
THEY NEVER LEAVE ;-; THEY COME HERE WITH THEIR CHILDREN EVERY YEAR GENERATION AFTER GENERATION SINCE I WAS LIKE, I DUNNO 4?
:th
It got so bad we had to make a fence.
the fence that they dont care about so they just fly over it.
But it was cute when i was like 8 years old and a momma duck took her ducklings here and i fed them, they crawled all over my legs XD

I like crows and Stellar's jays.
and quail
and seagulls
and thats my list :3

Ha ha, yes it is quite hard choosing one in particular. (Not to mention I have a soft spot for Finches and Sparrows too!)

I love hummingbirds too! We have the ruby red-breasted hummingbird every year, she'll fly by kitchen window and hoover to warn us that there's a pesky bee by the feeder or that it remains empty.
Aw! That's so cool she landed close by to you. The ruby one here comes close when we work in the garage, but not as close as the one goes by you.
Too funny! What a suiting name. :lau

Wow! I love Canadian geese too, but geez, never had one that close! AWESOME! This time of year we start seeing them preparing for migration.
My two favorite times of the year for Ornithology is April, all birds start to come back from Migration and flock all around the yard and sky, and November when all the birds flock around and prepare for migration. It's so neat!

Lol! I love the Mallards as well, they have a nest by our pond. Cool! I guess you rather them too sweet than too aggressive!

Awwww! Too cute! XD

I like crows and jays because they are like the guards of the property.

Great list and great stories! :highfive: on liking Ornithology too!! :D

We are (as it seems) slam dunk in the middle of the migration path for crows. Just a couple of weeks ago, a ginormous flock of crows were just hanging out in the woods out back. They were extremely noisy but it was actually really cool when they ALL took off into the sky, there must have been easily over 100 of them! My poor rooster was running helter-skelter around the yard gathering his hens and heading for the coop. RUUUUUNNNN! lol Then I sometimes see geese fly by, its always neat to see them all flying in a "V" shape formation.

I love birdies!

Well, I have had 4 traumatic injuries to my head and ever since I have struggled with headaches which have know lead to depression. Ugh.... But my hair was half way down my back and is super curly and it feels really heavy so I asked sis to chop it.

I will post a pick after I have it brushed!
That stinks, but I hope having short hair helped! :hugs
View attachment 1167790 still need to make it even. Lol.
It looks really nice!
