Truck problems, warranties and credit.

If it comes to it, the cheapest fix is generally rolling a complete
rear axle housing under your truck. Couple of hours in the driveway,
it's over.

Assuming it's 4-wheel drive, just make sure you get the right ratio.

I'd take the others advice so far - get those phone records to back you up.
 
My mother in law parked her lemon in front of the dealer with a big sign on it that said "this lemon bought here" or something like that. Really. They fixed the problem after two days. Do not mess with the MIL!

Check and make sure... You can always call the warranty company and raise 10 kinds of h*ll! They should honor that! If that doesn't work, raise it with the dealership... talk to the General Manager.
