"TRUE" A&Ms due this weekend...

My "True" A&M's are hatching, so are A&M's from Lake Cumberland eggs, so far decent hatch rate.

I do not see any differnce in size, also they all have dots, and some even brown spots on their backs.

LOL

I am keeping them separate for future comparison and reference.

Unless of course if the feed conversion totally sucks... Then you might as well go with chickens. Mine are at least 6 ounces, but they're also going through 2lbs of feed every three days (there're only 7 of them). I'm dying to get rid of some of them, but I'm not 100% sure on two of the browns (so I'd only be able to cull out 1-2 birds anyways). I don't want to drive two hours away without getting rid of ALL of the excess roos. I suppose a good quail snack would do as well.

You really cannot compare the feed consumption of Bobs vs. Coturnix because they are both they are completely different when it comes to growth rate. Coturnix deffinetly eat more in a shorter period of time but are laying and ready for butcher in 8 weeks give or take. Bobs not only take a decent while to grow but also don't usually lay their first year.
