Hi all! I got this girl as a day old chick from a woman who said her friend shows Ameraucaunas and gave her eggs to hatch. She’s about 9 weeks now. Do you think she’s actually an Ameraucauna, or an EE like so many “Americaunas” are? I was told she’s a Wheaton, which based on pictures, I also believe she’s a hen as Roos are dark feathered. Any input into breed and gender would be great! I sure love this chicken!

Also, I have two and the eggs are light blue. They are smart, friendly, quiet, and medium sized so good for hot weather.
I love this little girl so much! She’s sooo friendly and when I sit down, she’s one of the first to jump in my lap for petting and a nap.
