So I got these guys at TSC and I know they are notorious for mislabeling chickens.... was curious to hear from the experts whether these look like true white leghorns. They are approximately 13 weeks old. Thanks in advance!

Comb and body type look correct for white Leghorn. If ear lobes are also white then I would say yes.. noting that some hatcheries sell two, one is considered a production type and not recommended for the 4H or kids who want to show/breed while the other will be just as productive but not conforming well to the standard of perfection for showing.. maybe a black feather here or there type thing or some other leakage.

The other poster may be correct about the reds' gender.. I can't make out saddles but if the same age as the Leghorns, big difference.

:)

Thanks for the replies! I’m terrible at Chicken breed identification unless it’s a sex link lol

Oh he’s def a cockerel. That has been established since he was 4 weeks and had a GIANT comb. I’m not interested in SOP or anything like that; just trying to make as close to a sex link as possible.
