Trying Fodder

Ok so after some research I'm trying to grow fodder for my girls (the divas). If all goes well I'm going to expand to an actual system for my horses. The bag of wheat was 10.00 for a #50 bag. And the containers were 1.88 at Walmart, and I drilled holes in the bottom. I soaked it for 24 hours, drained it and started a new one soaking after I cleaned the container out. It's already sprouting. Here are the pictures. I'll keep everyone posted on how is going.

Where did you get your wheat at? It looks great!

I called around to feed stores and asked if they sold wheat or barley seeds. I used wheat. It was 10.00 for a 50lb bag.
