Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
My farm manager took a couple of roos off my hands today, but wouldn't take this little black beauty as he thinks she's a pullet. I thought rust on the back and shoulders meant cockerel. If she is a he, he must go asap. I'd also like to know the breed, but gender is most important.
