YesIs that a brown leghorn?
I'm betting she skipped that chapter in 'How to be a typical chicken class.' LOL!Idk, brown leghorns got broody?!?!?!
That’s helpful to know! I am a chicken novice. The crate is about 4 inches off the ground. I’ll remove the bedding and seeGet the bedding out. Offer a piece of 2x4 to stand on and be comfortable. Raise entire cage off the ground by 3-4" (cannot tell if that happened with this picture) you want a wire bottom to give her no place to build heat. No plastic sheet or bedding.
Let her out about roost time every day. If she jumps back on her nest, see what she does tomorrow night. Couple days and she will roost with everyone and you'll have a broken broody!
