trying to decide what ducks are best for us

Yeah it would be nice if i could find someone close by... i hate getting eggs/birds shipped! I put a thing on craigslist too! we will see!!

I sent my order off today to Holderreads for 10 of their runner ducks. I just love them. I choose delivery date to be the first week in april. I am going to order my welsh harlequin and golden 300 hybrids and my toulouse geese from Metzer. I would have ordered all from Metzers but they don't have the white or the pencile runners. I fell in love with ducks last year when I got a pair of pekins. I am so looking forward to spring.

I love the mandarins!! I will eventually cross that line! I love ducks period! They were the first birds I bought when we moved here. I will get some eggs here soon just need to find some I want... Torn between so many. I would order from a hatchery but hatching them is more fun to me!
