Trying to design a chicken tractor.

I bought some chicks a few days ago so i need to get started on some housing for them. I was wondering if i need to insulate the tractor. I live in central Nebraska and it gets really cold here in the winter. Right now I'm thinking the house will be 4x4 and the run 4x8 with the house being over half of the run. Will 2x2 framing be strong enough? I will glue and screw everything together. Also what kind of wood would you recommend?

Also has anyone ever had a problem with their tractor blowing over? We get some pretty strong winds here in Nebraska. What is a good way to prevent them from blowing over if you have?
