So, my chicks are getting a little bigger, and even though they are all within a day (age wise) of each other, I have two that are significantly bigger than the others. They are all Starting to try and fly around their little coop, and now these two fly into each other, with their cheats out, bumping in into each other. I don't know a lot about male chickens, but that sounds like something males would do. I attached a photo that sort of shows the size difference. What you cave see us that their legs are WAY thicker than all the other chickens. The two that are larger are the same breed, but they are different that the rest. I think they are Rhode Island Red, while two smaller ones are New Hampshire Red, and then one black chicken.

If you have any ideas, let me know. Thank you!

With the thicker legs and the 'tudes, those two could be boys. Take a look at comb and wattle development too. Boys are usually bigger and redder than their female counterparts. BUT!!! I've mistaken pullets for roos in the past. After years of raising chicks I am rarely 100 percent sure until the boys start growing spurs and hackles.
