Trying to find an adopter

My friend has a black silkie rooster, Adam, that he needs to find a new home for. The zoning where he lives does not allow roosters. Does anyone know of someone who would adopt Adam? We're trying to find an adopter that will give him a loving home, and not anyone who is going to slaughter or sell him. Thank you.

We are located in Livingston County, Michigan.

I tried adopting Adam myself. I have a 10 lb rooster, Freddie, who liked Adam a little too much. Freddie was humping Adam. I also have three hens. One of them is 8 pounds, and she was pecking at Adam. Adam is a very small guy. We were afraid Adam would get injured by the bigger chickens. So I had to give Adam back to my friend.
