Trying to find TRUE miniature silver appleyard ducks

You're welcome. I'm sorry I can't help you with your real question though. I don't know any breeders. www.duckcreekfarm.com has what they call Mini SAs, but they look like Silver Bantams to me.
They are silver bantams, because that's all we have in the US, and we call them Mini Silver Appleyard. So, Duck Creek Farm is correct. There are no true Silver Appleyard bantams in the US. There are Mini Silver Appleyards (same color pattern as snowy calls and Welsh Harlequins) and Silver Appleyard calls (same color pattern as the large Appleyard duck).

There is,a great deal of confusion between the appleyard bantam...and the silver appleyard miniature. I will continue to search for the MINIATURE SULVER APPLEYARD as I do not want the appleyard bantam. There ARE differences. Thank you for your help everyone...it goes to show why you need to be very careful and do your reearch BEFORE purchasing any animal!

I have a trio with 4 newly hatched ducklings and a few more under the other hen.

I bought them last winter and was told they are mini silver appleyards, not bantam. The drake's a complete jerk. :)

Those are Appleyard calls. And very pretty!
They're like these:

Mini Silver Appleyards are like these:

By the way, "bantam" is just a generic term for a small variety.

But Mini Silver Appleyards are called "Silver Bantams" in the UK.
