I hope it hatches that would just tickle her to death lol.....she watched and waited for about 30 minutes for my SLW to lay an egg so she could hurry up and get it lol well she made me get it she even made me take pictures lol

Oh goodness don't let my daughter see this setup. Last year she saw my friend's new chickens and fell in love. Ever since she wanted chickens. A few months later I'm cleaning her room and putting away laundry and I find not 1, not 2, but 3 eggs in her underwear drawer. I ask her what it is all about. She tells me that she wanted to hatch eggs so she could have baby chickens.

Mind you, these eggs came from the grocery store. I had to break it to her that not only were these eggs not going to hatch, but she almost had a case of rotten egg underwear. After that was how the whole thing began for us to learn about how chicks are hatched, and how to raise them, etc. Now we have 14 of the suckers at the house and probably more coming.

Awhhhhhhhh! It probally will not hatch bit if it does it would be sooooooooooo cute <3. Maby you could take it into a chicken egg brooder?
