Trying to remedy a possible disaster.

Just an update. No super joyful news, but as a bonus, no problems either.

There is STILL no sign of the string, no enlarged crop, no trailing dingle berries, just a seemingly healthy happy pullet.

This is the weirdest dang thing!

So to quote an old adage Enola, "no news is good news" lol.

Yeah it's the weirdest thing. I am hoping for the best ;-) Every day I feel a little bit better with her.
Thanks for checking up ;-)

Ok, so a new update. The girls are 19 weeks now, and the string eater is STILL here, and I STILL have no idea which one she is.

No one shows any ill effects, and all seem very happy and content. I keep an eye on their droppings in the Hen house, but since they free range the yard as well, I can't monitor it all, but STILL no signs of the string or an anomalies in their poop.

So, it looks like my girl will be here for the long run. Lesson learned to say the least ;-)

Always nice to find a happy ending for a hen that did something super not good.
