Trying to save a baby chick.

Thanks I will be careful . I added my other least energetic chick with it for about a min. The other chick made it walk a tiny bit and woke it up when it decided to nap . Ate a couple nibbles. Natural chicken therapy:)

I will do that a couple times a day. Chick really enjoyed the company. I can’t leave it in there though because I’m sure it will get pecked at because of the dried cornstarch still on it.

Sick chick had its first poop . Yay!

Maybe instead of getting it wet to clean it you could use a blow dryer or a soft toothbrush. That way it won't stress it out and then it could have friends. :) I'm really happy your chick is on the road to recovery! :yesss:

It’s really caked on and it has a little oil on its head .

I put chick with the others for some exercise and he/she immediately tried to the copy the others with eating and drinking. Then the others started pecking on the dried corn starch.

So I took it back out.

I got Silkie chicks a month ago and I would give them drip baths and blow dry them. I would think at this time it would be for the best so it doesn't get depressed... Just avoid the naval.
