Trying Trapping, but got wrong species LOL

Last year I try to trap our groundhog because it climed the fence and ate my veggies ( I saw it doing that). So I set a trap up with an apple. My trap cought: 3 ferral kitten, 3 opossum and @ last 2 groundhogs. 2 of the kitten are living in my house right now

wow those teeth are pretty wicked!!! I can see now how he made short work of the metal. I didn't shoot him, I let him go quickly..my close neighbors on three sides wouldn't have appreciated me discharging a firearm LOL

Grinners are pretty passive, but as you can see very destructive when they want to be. We get rid of them here as they are a terror on turkey nests. It is not uncommon to catch 8 or 10 a night during the season. They, along with Coons are terrible on Grouse and Turkey nests here!

they used to eat with the cats when i was a kid i would pet them like a cat.
one got in the house under the stove and i grabbed it with welder gloves, and it bit me but didnt get through my skin.
its a good thing it was tame
