If the pasty butt was really bad its most likely going to come back. One of the suggestions I got fron TSC is to put vaseline, green goo, or bag balm ointment on the vent for moisture. Which usually ensues some yapping. Hild her feet and body in your hand and apply light pressure from the crop down. You will learn they are gassy but usually if its bad it can shoot out a ball or shoot out alot of poop. If I have to go that route I immediately give sugar water1/2 cc b-12 1/4 cc few drops of poultry drench. They usually do well

You mean, you squeeze them until poo shoots out? Thats what I'm hearing from this post. That doesn't sound very safe to me, especially for a chick that isn't doing well. You can hurt them by squeezing them to hard, but maybe I'm misunderstanding?

She's even less responsive this morning. I've had her in my hands all morning, been giving her egg yolk, molasses and sugar through a syringe, and electrolyte water. She doesn't respond when I touch her.
She's going out, is there anything else I can do? I fell so terrible for this poor baby! Freaking TSC!

I'm not going to be any help.. I bought 4 at TSC because That's the minimum, I lost 2 So I'm down to 2. I have been reading everywhere because I felt so awful.. But sometimes I guess you just lose some chicks, heartbreaking though.

She died a little bit ago. Its so horrible! I personally think its the fault of the TSC brooders. When we went there, they were all huddled under the heater, and looked terribly stressed.
Is there anything I can do? I've already singed the petition against them. Its horrible, and so heartbreaking.

This is my first year doing chickens, I lived in California before this in a mobile home park so I didn't really have the opportunity and I don't know much different. Those brooders didn't look good.. I personally wanted some different chicks but the guy couldn't get at them so basically gave me what he could catch which I think is why 2 were so poorly they didn't really put up a fight. I'd sign a petition. The two I have left one had bad pasty-butt but I think I caught it early and got it under control. I'm sorry about the loss.. I know that pain all too well.

Thank you. It was absolutely horrible. I just sent them an email clearly stating my thoughts on their brooder system. I hope some will read it that actually cares, thought I mostly had to tell someone. Its terrible, absolutely terrible.

Thank you, its so hard, especially when you feel like it's the fault of someone careless.
I'll post the link here so you can sign it. We've gotten chcisk from them before, and from our local feed store. At the time, they were using the brooders on the floor and we have never seen any mortality rates as high as they are now.
I hope that petition gets enough signatures, I'm gonna ask friends of mine to sing it as well. I think they need 10,000 more signatures.
