TSC chicks

Hmm they don't look anywhere near 3 weeks. Even at 2 weeks I'd expect more noticeable tail growth, by 3 weeks there'd be back feathers coming in, and I'm not seeing that.

Maybe the employees got the bins confused and discounted the wrong ones?
Barred feathers can be slow to grow in though. Just looked back through my thread and this Barred Plymouth Rock is 23 days old here, give or take a day.

Bought 10 chicks from TSC, i know they aren't 3 or 4 day old chicks, they were sold at a discount, is there anyway to guess or tell their age?
My tractor supply specials, Sapphire gems, (which is a plymouth rock mix) had all their feathers on their backs by 3 weeks and were just starting to get little tail feathers after having them home a week. I guessed they were a few days old at least because they were so active (I call that 1 week). It's hard to see, but I've got a screenshot of a video I took at 2 weeks to help with your aging. Also, maybe worth adding, my TSC told me last week that they were only getting one more batch of chicks in and then they were done for the year so that may be why they're discounted

mi querido amigo tell me where this TSC is I must make a pilgrimage
My local TSC told me last week they're only getting one more batch of chicks and then done for the year. I went by this week and they have more babies than you can shake a stick at. They were trying to convince me to take some home with me for a discount. Might be worth going by your local TSC to see if they're eager to give theirs away too lol.
