Last year I got 6 buff Orpington's from the straight run bin. I ended up with 3 of each sex.

I wish I could give you some of my roo's considering I have more in my possession than I had originally expected. I will make sure to put a pic of them on here in the near future before I get rid of them
I am probably not going to have them turned in to tasty nuggets since I still have 8 of my old hens in my freezer that still need to be fried up. I'll most likely sell em on Craigslist to someone I feel I can trust
Oh, you'll know how to tell the leghorn roo from the pullet. Not sure if it works with the browns, but it should. The combs on the males grow much much bigger. You can tell on Orps, too, but it's not as obvious. If you have any question just post the pics on here, and we'll tell you. Ya, KY is a bit to far, and I don't think it's a good idea to mail chicken nuggets.
