It’s a gorgeous fall morning, and I had the privilege of going on a run outside.

Security blanket. I get it. I'm uncomfortable if it's too hot to wear a sweater, hoodie or other wrap of some kind.

• throwing a ball for my friend's black Lab and making her (the dog) very happy;
• sharing the good news of the everlasting gospel (Rev. 14:8-12) with another friend and hearing her say she'd never understood it so clearly before;
• preparing to take a third friend to lunch at Olive Garden shortly;
• all this in the beautiful state of New Mexico!

My back hurt less this morning. I actually stood up straight when I walked. Yesterday, it was either I looked like I was walking into a headwind, or was doing the pregnant waddle.
