Ahhh! They are precious! How DID you pick just 6? I think I like Penny best. She's so TINY. I went to TSC today too. Not to get ducklings. (I needed stuff for my three week old ducklings). I refused to look at them. Lol. I only looked at the chicks because I KNOW I don't want chickens. But then I saw the bantams and they were soooo tiny. Ugh. I wanted to take them home. But... I'm proud of myself. I left without new ducklings or chicks. Lol.

Does anybody else think 2 of them look like geese?

I fell victim to the TSC ducks the other day as well. 5 blue Swedish

I have ducks due in like 2 days, but I bought more anyway.

I know you just cant help it once you look at them, no matter how many you have or our expecting to have!

And no there not geese.... not that I would mind, but my family says NO GEESE!

There better not be ducklings at my favorite feed store when I risk a trip there. I have almost learned not to buy chicks unless they are breeds I don't have AND want in my flock. This actually means there are some chicks which don't make my eye teeth hurt.

But ducklings....

I have a duckling factory in my Cayugas; they doubled the size of the duck flock with one hatching of 14 babies last year!

But ducklings... In a bin... With no momma.... And peeping... And looking up at me....

You better just not go near them.. They are almost completely irresistible! It was SOOO hard leaving all those helpless babies behind!

I know, I love Penny too! I was tempted to pick out all the littlest tiniest ones, but I was brave and smart and tried to pick out the healthiest biggest ones, as much as I didn't want to.

And you should be VERY proud of yourself, those bantams..... they are like little cotton balls!!

Thankfully they were gone when I went and got my 25 cent ducklings, or......

Oh my gosh. Too cute!! I am a fan of runners, but baby runners are just adorable. My TSC has had only chickens lately.

I got Mallards at TSC not to long ago (2 weeks back) and they were the tiniest little things! Now, they are huge! Just look at them!

I just told my SO about my trip to TSC. When I got to the part about seeing the chicks he said "Oh gah" and put his head down. I said "What!? I didn't bring any home!" Lol. Then he asked if they looked like Angry Birds.

Wow! They sure grow fast! Very pretty ducks for sure The second one looks darker then a mallard, but still so pretty.
