TSC now sells bulk feed by Mail

I suggest that you make your own feed, it will be way cheaper, and you can find ration formulation software online for free, trust me you will save lots of money.
That must depend on your location, because I worked out making my own feed and it was not cheaper than commercial in the slightest. At least to do it right, anyway.

The only way you're going to save considerably on feed is if you have a local Co-Op that will mix feed for you fresh AND have enough chickens to go through that amount of feed before it loses its nutrition. I'm thinking it's probably at least a half ton at a time you'd need to do, maybe 500lbs bulk bags. Plus you need somewhere to safely store it, and a way to transport it home and to where you're storing it.

This is a good way to go!

I’m not looking to save , just looking more of a selection of feed . I got tractor supply close but limited selection . Most feed store feed I’ve seen around here didn’t look the best and was very dusty
I have read about people buying feed from a local grange. Also look for a co op in your area.

Here we can get chicken feed dropped off to us from Azure Standard in Washington state.

Something like that might be available to you in NY

I know you can order from some companies, but you're gonna be looking at getting full pallets. Unless you have a lot of birds, it would probably be best to get together with a few other chicken people to split pallets. Or you can get individual bags shipped, but you're gonna spend $$$$ for that.
