TSC Plastic Waterer leaks. Sigh

So I went to get a metal can w/ plans to build a heater (light bulb cookie tin version) and when I went to by the tin heater I realized that is was just going to be a whole lot easier and essentially the same price to buy one of those massive heated doggie bowls. i'll have to add water a bit more often, but it's thermostatically controlled and only 50 watts and the bowl was $20 and it would have cost me nearly that just for the watering tin.

So anybody want a plastic 3.5 waterer and one of them big floating heating pucks!?
