Just a pic to show you what TSC were selling as Ameraucana's and Cinnamon Queen chicks. Note the greenish eyes on the 'Ameraucana'? Nope.. can't be.

Yes, but Cinnamon Queens are from a cross between a Rhode Island Red male and a Rhode Island White female and neither has a pea comb. Closest guess I come to is Buckeye.

Americanas are not a breed. They're Easter Eggers. Many hatcheries sell Easter Eggers under that name. Ameraucana chickens have certain colors that are recognized among the breed.

If you see any hatcheries selling 'Americana' chicks, they're Easter Eggers.

Were these labeled in the same bin?
They're both EEs so if the same brooder had both labels I'd say they were just sold out of CQs

That sucks, but I do have to say tsc may not be entirely to blame, it might be the hatchery to. I know when I worked at a farm store, there were times we got shipments of chicks that were labeled wrong or not at all. Only one of the employees really knew her chicken breeds and was usually able to sort them out

Nope, different bins. I did call and talk to one of the guys at TSC. He's going to do some calling and find out which hatcheries chicks are coming from, and why they are mislabeled when they get them. I did check the spelling on the plaque that said Ameraucana's to make sure it had a U in it.
