I figured I should update and say that I sent new pics to Ideal. And they said that I definitely got an Embden by mistake. They are going to refund me since they sent the wrong breed. It happens, I just wish they had sent another breed of small goose by mistake. This one is going to be huge!

Lol. They also told me that. Last Thursday, still waiting for the credit.

And different hatch dates too, so I'm wondering if anyone has got a real tufted from ideal?

I just stumbled upon this thread. I ordered a pair of Tufted Romans from Ideal this past spring. While I'm certain I got TR's, I am not convinced that I got a true "pair." I have two...but I think they're both male. Is there any way to tell the difference other than if one lays an egg? I've gotten a few big eggs, but I'm not sure if it was a goose egg or a huge (double yolk) duck egg. I'll try to find some pics of my two and post them.
