Gander

These are czech geese (ye probely heard of these before) they are small white goose breed that have very short necks that are bulky ,they are light and lay 20-25 eggs only :/ they have yellowish legs and beaks

they look a lot like white greylags,in fact i think this breed isnt that far off the normal greylag (as in people who made this breed didnt go in to far making this breed) the necks are short and ive greylag crosses with my embden and tuffed geese and they have short necks and are small and white aswel, And their shape is very greylag like so thats the czech breed for ya. Oh and they can be tuffed czechs also :) now back for more research

They are pretty.

I´ve seen these pics before....stunningly beautiful geese. What about it, then? Chinese with Pom? Worth a try? 4 generations or more, do you think, to get it stable?

Steinbacher geese are a cocktail of many breeds: russian Tula, some german geese, Chinese and others.

You can try to buy genuine Steinabacher.

I have a pair of Blue Steinbacher. http://elgansoycia.jimdo.com/oca-steinbacher/

There are also in colours Gray and Cream.

These are faroese geese they are from Scandiniava and lay about 20 eggs a year ,these geese are very hardy (like the brecon buff) this breed was not made too small or too large and has nice juicey meat they like privacy and left alone and this breed was bred at the british Isles also and since there were nearly no predators they roamed the fields and thats where the hardyness comes from.

I like these geese i like hardy geese, they look alot like saddlebacks and poms but have a small head and body shape is also small :)
