Tumor or cyst (?) under ear

We just noticed a cyst/tumor like bump under the left ear of our RIR. She's been acting normal and we're not sure how she would have developed it. Or what it is or what to do about it. We'd appreciate any feedback or advice. Thanks!

This may be an ear infection. Is there any bad smell? It is surprising, but chickens have ear canals. Some people recommend cleaning the ear canal with vinegar or hydrogen peroxide, drying it with Q-Tips, then filling the canal with Neosporin ointment without painkiller. She may need an antibiotic also.

we tried to clean it out but it started to bleed,so we gave her some antibiotics and it healed on it's own!

she is now happily scratching around with her friends
