Tumor or Egg bound?

Four year old red sex link hen. AdaIda has been sick for a little over 3 weeks. First with mites and now a slow crop.

She also has a hard lump you can feel from the outside of her left abdomen. Higher up from her vent. Somewhat egg sized.


She has had watery poop with black and pale yellow bits.

Just started treating her with Safeguard and Acidified Copper Sulfate.

Also tried an epsom salt bath a few days ago.

She has little appetite, and is quite lethargic. Her lethargy was some what on again off again but now she has little energy maybe because of the sudden heat wave. Ate a tiny bit of watermelon today and a few bugs.

Four year old Red sex link is kinda old for that breed.
Are you massaging her crop often?

Thanks for the prayers. When I put her in her little dog kennel tonight she did not even climb on her roost.

All this stress from a sick chicken. On top of having to move the coop and rearrange their run because of a weird fiasco with the neighbors. My heart and brain can't take anymore!! No more drama.
