Lisa, it shouldn't affect the color of the crosses as far as I know. Other than sometimes barring does not show very well on brown, if you get not-brown-red chicks. sometimes it seems to slightly lighten the brown or can just see one vague bar or two per feather on some parts of body. You'll see a variety from barely hint of bars to showing the bars pretty well on the Bb birds. I've had some birds that showed barring only on the tail, especially if the birds were light brown with black tails. I would not be surprised if a Bb Momo bird would show a couple white tips.

I know this is an old thread.I have pics of f1 naked neck X polish cross pullet and a crested naked neck that I picked up at an poultry auction.I will be breeding these pullets to a pure polish and an f1 polish cross male.My goal is a crested frizzle naked neck. Just wanted to post these pics to see if anyone else is working on this project or has pics that would like to share.
