Well, drat! I did put the male with some regular bantam hens and he sure showed he was a male. What will I get if I cross him with say a black tailed jap hen and a regular game hen? Since I don't have any showgirl hens what will he throw?

I'm not doubting anyone on their guesses, but to me they appear to be a pair, the size difference of the combs, its odd though.

But I'm not an expert so dont mark my words.

What's their age difference?

I don't know their ages - bought both of them at an auction in Sept 2007 - much the same size then as now. The larger one has a metal band NC6684 - wonder what that means? The little one has virtually no comb, no spurs......? That is why I thought it might be a hen.

Well, I believe the little one is a male too - I put it in with another roo and they ignored each other for a bit and then began circling in typical roo fashion. drat it!
