Here are three pics of my naked neck silkies - The first one - Is this a hen?

Are they a pair? The hen on the left the roo on the right - right?

Here is final photo - big size difference - I got them back in Sept 2007.

Looks like a pair to me. Most people call them showgirls

I didn't know that - but it's cute! I just love them and hope that she starts laying. My husband thinks they are beyond ugly!

LOL - He has tried his best to talk me in to selling them - or giving them away - until I finally just told him NO - no more discussion. I did move them into the barn in the banty room where he rarely goes - you know - out of sight out of mind, or something like that

Remember, these are the first I have ever seen - what is "streamer's" ? Long feather's? Those topknot "thingy's"

Streamers are the longer feathers coming from the back of the crest. Here is one of my black pullets, you can see her crest is more globular, and without the streamers on the back of her crest.

What a pretty thing! I do see what you are talking about. Hmmmmm don't guess I will be getting eggs from them!

The larger one has long spurs - I think he is old, the smaller one doesn't have any spurs - and I cannot tell that it has grown any since I got them in Sept 2007. They are caged together and don't fight at all - I have not seen any mating activity either......
