Hello Turken Breeders!
Nice to see so many of you in surrounding states (to Arkansas). I was fortunate enough to see an excellent group of Turkens shown by Ed Haworth (a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman) at the Shawnee show in 2008. I will be contacting Ed in the next few days to request a Turkens Special Meet for the Big Bird Classic Show on April 17th in Pine Bluff Arkansas. We are awarding Trophy Plaques to Best of Breed to any large fowl breed that can get together ten or more entries. So far we are having a Buckeye Meet, Plymouth Rock, Marans, and I am working on a Jersey Giant meet also.
