Turken?

Just left a TSC and saw a bin full of a mix of turkey and chickens. Never seen those before. Anyone have any info or experience with them?

Turken is another name used for naked neck chicken's. They are not a mix of turkeys and chickens rather they are a breed of chicken.

The bin probably has chickens and turkeys in together. Turkens are 'Naked Necks' look them up.....they are quite interesting.
Oh, and just a note, you can't cross turkeys to chickens, just like you can't cross horses to cows.

x3 Turkens are naked neck chickens, some though have a bow tie of feathers midway down their necks.

There is also a variety of silkie (crossed with turken) that are called SHOWGIRLS.
