Turkey beak overgrowth on the roof

Hello,
I have a male turkey with a beak problem. The roof of the beak, like the roof of my mouth is growing downward to the point that the flesh is hindering him from closing his beak and is also starting to grow outside of the beak. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? Or what I can do.
