Turkey Breed for me? Black Spanish?

I I have a few questions. We have 7 acres with lots of other birds and I am wanting to have one breed of Turkeys to have free ranging. I would like to be able to show them also. Are Black Spanish good free rangers? Will the hens sit on their eggs? Will the toms roost as well as the hens? I actually have one hen currently and a few other turkeys that are going to go.

Also what will happen if I breed a Black Spanish tom to a Blue Slate hen? Will they be mutts?

Well I used to have a black spanish hen till something killed her while she was sitting on eggs, but I can tell you this much they love to roam and are very sweet friendly animals. Personaly they are my favorite.
