Will they sit and hatch, then brood the poults?My turkeys lay everywhere, especially if you pick them up and break up nests. My turkeys use the shed to roost in at night. Turkeys in general like to lay on the ground and with some sort of cover or grass covering them.
I only let mine set once and it turned into a mess because there was 2 hens next to each other. After that I preferred to have my bantams hatch my turkey eggs than I brooded them so they were more friendly and I had more control. I personally haven't let a turkey do it all. Others have no problems with letting them go.Will they sit and hatch, then brood the poults?
