Turkey Egg Air Cell Too Small?

Hi all,
I have a 16 day incubated egg, and I believe the air cell is too small. Right now the humidity is at 52, though usually it has been between 55-60. I would just like to confirm with someone who is experienced at hatching turkey eggs, and knowing how much I should decrease the humidity, based on the current size of this egg's air cell:

Your humidity is likely too high. I try to incubate my turkey eggs at about 30% humidity and lockdown around 70% humidity.

I agree with r2elk.

I incubate mine @ 35 percent humidity. Then raise to 70 plus for hatch.

It looks like your using an LG styro. In those I've found its better to be drier on humidity during incubation than it is to be wetter.

Glad to see a 2nd thermometer as those readouts are known to be off.

All right thank you both for the advice. I'll start to move it towards that 30-35 range and see how it works out. Yes there is another thermometer, the digital one is a little sketchy (the readout on it isn't steady). I'm thinking of getting a second meter to measure the humidity as well just in case. Thank you

The worst part of the unsteady temp is the probe that is attached to the plastic sheet.

Never resets in the same spot if you open the lid.

If you have a turner it moves with the eggs on the turner. Small movement causes a noticeable swing.

When I had this type I ended up zip tieing the probe to the wires on the lid. Removed the plastic sheet and bent the probe to where I wanted it under the heater element. Helped somewhat with swings.
